Judge Participation Form
The One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest (OEYFC) is fortunate to have a talented and growing community of judges—professionals and leaders who share a passion for film, storytelling, and environmental action. Each year, our judges help mentor the next generation of environmental storytellers by reviewing short films—live action, documentary, animation, and mixed media—ranging from 45 seconds to 8 minutes, created by filmmakers ages 8–25.
One of the things that makes OEYFC truly unique is that every filmmaker receives constructive feedback, whether or not they win an award. This feedback helps participants continue developing their skills, creativity, and confidence, and it is a big part of why student filmmakers value the judging process so highly.
We’re delighted that you’re interested in being part of this community. This form helps us get to know you better so we can keep you in mind for future judging opportunities. Our goal is to match judges with films that align with their experience and interests, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for both judges and filmmakers.
